About Kernel:
Our mission is to build your source of truth for enterprise intelligence, starting with empowering enterprise RevOps to improve go-to-market efficiency with AI.
RevOps teams have an impossible job when it comes to correcting the CRM data that AI (and reps!) need as context for decision-making. This is the problem we're solving at Kernel.
We're growing extremely fast and are working with many of the best RevOps teams in the world, such as Remote.com, Navan, Zip, GoCardless, Cognism, and many more.
We're a team of second-time founders and have raised $15mm+ from top VCs and revenue leaders at Open AI, Slack, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
The Role:
We are looking for our first Creative Content Executive to report directly to our Founder and work closely with our Marketing Lead to own Kernel's creative content strategy and execution.
Be the engine for Kernel's brand, crafting content that resonates with target buyers whilst blending education and entertainment.
Work directly with the CEO on building a founder-led brand by creating content that builds authority on key subjects.
Bring technical expertise across multimedia content production. Primarily looking for social-first video and animation experience. Graphic design is a bonus.
Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, product, and sales
Manage a content calendar and contribute to new ideas to differentiate Kernel's positioning in the market.
Manage and develop a podcast series working with external stakeholders and Kernel’s leadership.
We need someone to build robust content pipelines that drive brand awareness and lead generation in the RevOps and AI deployment space.
Overall, we want someone who has a deep passion for creative storytelling and multimedia production, who also wants to contribute more broadly to building a rapidly growing startup.
During peak content periods, this role will require flexibility across different content formats and marketing initiatives.
Important to Know:
Hours - This will be an exciting but intense job. Kernel is growing extremely fast, and hours can be long. You might need to create content for both UK and US audiences across different time zones.
Working location - Minimum 4 days a week in the London office (Borough).
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Production: You'll be responsible for driving Kernel's podcast series forward. Lead on planning, creative direction, recording and editing of podcast episodes (both in-person and remote podcasts).
Video Content Leadership: Film founder brand content. Work directly with the CEO and leadership to execute high-quality video content. Edit video content into different formats appropriate for multi-channel and full funnel marketing campaigns.
Brand Strategy Support: Support brand development and understand how content relates to commercial objectives. You'll own content performance metrics and iterate based on engagement and conversion data.
Content Calendar Management: You'll own our content calendar, ensuring consistent output across all channels while maintaining quality standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: You'll work closely with Sales and Product teams to create content that supports the full customer journey, from awareness to conversion.
Content Distribution: You'll optimize content for different platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) understanding the nuances of each channel.
Brand Voice Development: You'll help establish and maintain Kernel's distinctive voice in the crowded AI and RevOps space.
You'll report directly to our Marketing Lead and work closely with our founder and CEO.
