About Kernel
Enterprise AI only works when the underlying data is accurate — but most CRMs are filled with duplicates, broken hierarchies, and outdated information that undermine forecasting, territory planning, and AI deployments.
We've raised a $14M Series A from top VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack and others to solve this with Agentic Company Data — the AI-native alternative to Dun & Bradstreet.
RevOps teams at Gong, Navan, Mistral, AlphaSense, and Zip use Kernel to eliminate duplicates, fix hierarchies, and deliver the accuracy they need to operate with confidence. What a RevOps expert can do manually for a single record, Kernel can do safely at scale for an entire CRM. Our platform gives teams confidence in the data foundation that powers enterprise decision-making and AI.
The Role
We're hiring data-savvy generalists to own the accuracy and performance of our agentic deployments across our customer base. As a member of our Data Operations team, you will architect and implement bespoke AI solutions, acting as the primary data and strategic partner across the value realisation journey.
You have a mix of skills: deeply analytical, great business acumen, and technically fluent. You have a strong mind for product strategy (customer value, JTBD) and a natural curiosity for AI. This is a deeply hands-on role that blends strategic solution design with practical implementation. If you thrive on owning complex problems and delivering tangible customer outcomes, we encourage you to apply.
What you'll be doing, specifically
Acting as the primary internal custodian across a range of our tools and builds, working to implement them across our customer-base.
Architecting, building, and deploying bespoke Kernel AI Agents using our in-house tooling to solve our customers' most critical data challenges.
Owning the post-deployment success of your solutions, using data-driven analysis to optimise agent performance and ensure maximum value for each unique use-case.
Developing and codifying best practices, building reusable tooling, and creating playbooks that create leverage for the entire organisation.
Essential requirements
🇬🇧 Lives in the UK with a right-to-work. Ideally it's easy to get to our London-based office.
🤓 5-10 years of experience in a client-facing, analytical or technical role (e.g., Management Consulting, Data Analytics, Technical Account Management), with a track record of owning the delivery of complex, high-stakes projects.
🤖 High technical aptitude and fluency. You have a strong grasp of how modern data and software systems work and are excited by the prospect of becoming a deep expert in agentic AI.
🧠 Deeply analytical with a proven ability to solve complex data problems. You have exceptional attention to detail and can diagnose data inconsistencies that others might miss. You are an expert with spreadsheets/DBs and have likely used a range of other analytical or data piping tools.
💡 A natural and tenacious problem-solver. You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a talent for finding creative, and sometimes unconventional, solutions to difficult technical challenges.
🦏 A ton of Grit—The early days of a company are really hard work and are full of ambiguity, but often have great rewards once you push through the other side. You tend to find that you still have more in the tank even after others have tapped out.
Desirable traits
🥷 Startup experience: you've seen first-hand that these are high-agency, high-ownership, high-intensity rides, and know you prefer this to something easier / less-impactful.
💻 Hands-on experience with scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or data query languages (SQL) is a strong plus.
You'll really do well here if you are:
Entrepreneurial: creative, effective, resourceful & can wear multiple hats
All-in: hard-working, excited to stretch yourself & willing to take out the trash.
